Mike was racing Ryan in Round 2 of the Invitational at the Summit Motorsport Park in Norwalk, Ohio when his car caught fire. Ryan Martin had a very easy job passing in the second round of this No Prep Kings Norwalk on Summit Motorsports Park when Cody Baker made huge mistake after the start. For Mike, after one incredible first round passing one of the fastest drivers from 405 Jeff Lutz and his GTO, in second round there was an accident for him. Our team just now got to our destination here in Ohio to where we can lie our heads and attempt to sleep this nightmare off. Unfortunately it’s still gonna be our reality when we wake up. Until then.. “I’m OK physically, for the most part, and that is truly what counts. But we shall discuss the content of these pictures and what we are going to do about it after some much-needed rest. For the second week in a row, we don’t see Ryan Martin and the gray Fireball Camaro went home with the overall victory. Despite bad performance at Bandimere Speedway last No Prep Weekend, this week they are back in the Great 8 Final against Jerry Bird and grab $15,000, plus 20 points to the leading points. However, Ryan Martin managed to get himself out of Invitational Finals because of the red light at the starting line. This is the second time after Bandimere, Ryan has lost a race due to the same problem, jumping on the red light while racing the guy in the lane next to him. Kye Kelley passed thru the final overtaking Kallee Mills and her sick Camaro – Golden Kong. Jim Howe came out swinging this season with the Guardian as he got the win over Justin Swanstrom and his bad to the bone Lexus. One of the most talked about racers in the beginning of this year has surely been JJ Da Boss and his wife’s terrible crash during the filming of America’s List. When JJ Da Boss and his wife crashed into each other after going across the finish line, an oil spill caused a fire inside JJ’s car and in the confusion, he swerved and hit Tricia’s car pushing it into the staff cars that were parked to absorb the impact in the concrete barrier. This terrible accident left Tricia with quite a few injuries while JJ has some severe burns to his face and hands. We were introduced to Caddy Jack, Big Chief’s Cadillac CTS-V a while back and have watched as the car progressed from a bone-stock factory hotrod to a legitimately badass street/strip killer. We don’t know the full details of the build, since keeping details like that on the hush is a key part of grudge racing. However, we do get a rare glimpse at the car’s actual quarter mile performance potential when Chief’s “hired driver”, Jackie, takes the car through the traps with the scoreboards on. The crew over at National No Prep Racing Association takes us along for the ride as Caddy Jack makes a couple of passes at Thunder Valley. If the thunderous performance isn’t enough to win you over, the scream from the car really pushes this thing over the top. It helps out big time that Lady Chief seems to have her act together behind the wheel. Maybe she’ll even give Chief a run for his money one of these days! Street Outlaws NPK racers John Odom and Robin Roberts battle it out in the Great 8 finals at Bandimere Speedway for $15,000. At one time, both John Odom and Robin Roberts want nothing to do with Street Outlaws No Prep Kings but the win at Bandimere Speedway in Morrison, Colorado. Robin Roberts defeated Kye Kelley, while John Odom won over Ryan Martin in the semi-finals to advance to the final with Robin Roberts. Fans are arguing about one of the rarest things at Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings event, when Ryan Martin jump red, meaning that Fireball Camaro move before the green came on! He got 20 points and now tied fifth place with team NOLA driver Scott Taylor, passing up Jerry Bird at sixth place. Lizzy Musi enjoyed and endured the highs and lows of racing and life within a single day as the “Street Outlaws No Prep Kings” series stormed through Arizona out at Tucson Dragway last weekend. Musi, in her Robert Hayes Race Cars-built 1969 Chevrolet Camaro, known as “Bonnie,” shot out ahead, securing what would have been a solid win against Ryan Martin in the Fireball Camaro when she appeared to lose control of Bonnie. Unfortunately, she struck the barrier on the driver's side then crossed the lines over to the other lane, hitting the opposite concrete barrier on the passenger side. Lizzy Musi was sent to the hospital for a routine evaluation, but thankfully there was no immediate injury. After thanking them for their concern, Pat began by letting everyone know that Lizzy "got the second-round win over Ryan Martin." It's a bit strange to start with the race results then ease into Lizzy's health status from there. "She got out of the car on her own and was taken to the hospital for observation and released," he said. Pat went on to give the car's design a shoutout because it was craftmanship that kept Lizzy safe. "The Robert Hayes-built car and all the safety equipment did its job," said Pat. According to him, the car is currently being repaired and they will be back. When we’re talking Street Outlaws season with big names showing up, we can expect that there will be plenty of drama. This comes not only behind-the-scenes but also on the track. These guys are really the best in the business and are going to bring their A-game to the table. This ends up creating some matchups that we have absolutely got to see. This season of Street Outlaws features Jeff Lutz and Big Chief working together as a team much closer than the rest of the guys. Additionally, this might be the race that holds one of them back from America’s List. Just the other day, when Big Chief was going to race Ryan Martin, it was Jeff Lutz in Chief’s corner trying to help him figure out what they are going to do when it came to the starting light. Even Ryan knew that these guys are so close that Jeff will tell Chief everything he hears from him about the starting procedure and whether Ryan will jump, sit or just go on time whenever the light turns on. Two of the most beloved cars on the show faced off recently and threw down one of the best side by side races we’ve seen. They both need the win so they can secure their spot on America’s List and at the moment both of them can end up staying in Oklahoma as the rest of the 405 racers like Ryan Martin, Daddy Dave, Monza, and whoever wins this travel around the country representing the 405. In a true team-like decision, Chief lets Jeff choose his preferred lane and ends up in the left. While Ryan Martin has shown that you can go extremely fast in both lanes, we have to realize that not all cars are as capable as that Fireball Camaro and not all of these guys have the right tune for both lanes. Jeff Lutz and Big Chief take the stage once again in Chicago to see who qualifies for the next 405. Both of them will be turning the power way up, on their machines and push the limit of what this road can take, because like we said this might be the deciding race of who gets to race with the best in the country, and who gets to stay home and watch the rest of the 405 on TV, so check out this great race and enjoy. Street Outlaws gives viewers an inside look into the world of American street racing. It shows the best mechanics, engineers and drivers showing off their skills. Well, “End Game” refers to a new Street Outlaws series the gang are filming right now that’s joined by 405, NOLA, Memphis team and so on. Photo by Street Outlaws Facebook Fans have spotted some drivers posting a lot recently on Facebook and Instagram using the hashtag “End Game” as they were building their car for this spin-off, such as Murder Nova, Ryan Martin, Kye Kelley, JJ Da Boss… When fans take a look at the competition on Street Outlaws, plenty probably don’t exactly realize just how much effort it takes to be successful in just about any form of racing. Sure, we see a small subset of what it takes to win on the television show. However, TV doesn’t even come close to showcasing the effort that is spent behind the scenes, making sure the car is ready for race day. Today, it is time to finally see the cars in action and find out who’s got what it takes to leave Vegas with a purse of about one hundred thousand dollars. We have been paying close attention to the builds and it appears that these guys had different ways to build their street cars that will be racing in the Street Outlaws Endgame competition. With that, there is certainly a ton of time and money spent to make sure that their cars are on top of its game at any given time. JJ always tries to mention how rich Ryan Martin is and how he has all the money in the world put into his racecars. However, it appears that Ryan Marin and Shawn “Murder Nova” Ellington have picked wrong transmission and gearing of their build. And that is about to show once they put up their cars against the competition. As the summer comes to a close, we’re happy to say that there are still a couple of months of good racing left. With that said, though, we are about three-quarters of the way through the current No Prep Kings season which has graced us with a ton of awesome action to look back on. This time, thanks to National No Prep Racing Association, we take a look back to see Justin Swantrom path to the victory at Tulsa Raceway Park. The event that unfolded on the first weekend in August had a ton for fans to really look forward to. Photo by Justin Swanstrom Facebook A rising star in the No Prep Kings series, Swanstrom has taken on the role to build a name for himself. At 26 years old, Swanstrom has raced in a variety of classes, but he has his heart set on No Prep Kings and he’s ready to battle his way into the spotlight. At the time, Swanstrom seemed to be having quite a bit of a string of bad luck. In the event prior to this one, he actually was involved in a pretty catastrophic accident that saw his car taking on heavy damage and even catching on fire. Fans were pretty surprised, though, to see just how quickly Lil Country would be able to turn things around, getting the car repaired and making his way to the very next event just a few weeks later. At first, after a test hit, of course, we watch as Swanstrom goes head-to-head with Chuck Seitsinger and his Mustang. After that, we get to see Swanstrom take on the competitors that some might consider the hardest beat in Kye Kelley and Daddy Dave. Lastly, Swanstrom finds his way next to the viral Camaro from Pat Musi Engine to see who has what it takes to push their way to the finish line first. Swanstrom has grown his brand on social media and promotes the series as a whole. “The fans are crazy for No Prep Kings and I think that’s the best part about it is because the fans is what keeps it going,” Swanstrom says. “I think No Prep has the best fans out of all racing out there…No Prep is going to continue to succeed and get better and better every year and I hope to be just a little part of it.” Photo by Justin Swanstrom Facebook

2022 NPK Tulsa found Justin Swanstrom winning over Lizzy Musi in the final round on Saturday. This is the first time a screw blown powered car wins the Invitational at NPK race. It’s believed that the reason for this no points is due to the recent death of show’s producer Mike Helmann. He passed away right before the show restarts after much-needed seven-week hiatus. Several Street Outlaws stars have made tribute to Helmann, including Ryan Martin, Kye Kelley, Justin Swanstrom and so on. Before the series took a break in July, Justin Swanstrom was tied with Jerry Bird at 210 points. Lizzy Musi is in third place with 230 points, while her fiancé ranks at top 2 with 320 points. Photos by No Prep Instagram Swanstrom and his team have done a lot of testing on his new screw blown combination in order to attack the season full force since the crash at Maple Grove Raceway in Mohanton, Pennsylvania and intake manifold at the New England Dragway in Epping, New Hampshire. This was Swanstrom’s first final win in NPK 2022 after beating Chuck Seitsinger in Round 1, Kye Kelley in Round 2, Larry Larson in Round 3 and Daddy Dave in semi-finals. Hopefully he will be winning again this year. In the lane next to the Swangang’s Lexus is the New Jersey girl who managed to beat Shawn Wilhoit, the guy that took Ryan Martin out of the picture for this event, so we know that she is trying everything she can in order to deny Swanstrom his first win of the season. Lizzy Musi also has some amazing wins to advance to the final. She defeated Adam Jennings in Round 1, then Birdman in Round 2 and Doc in Round 3. Street Outlaws No Prep Kings will now be off until August 26th and 27th, when the series regroups at Firebird Raceway in Idaho. Over the years, we have heard that the success of Ryan Martin is based on his hard work more than anything. This has been repeated numerous times when it comes to testing, and for many, it was the work that he has done in testing that has put him on the top of his game and at the top of the No Prep Kings Championship, last season. As you know, Ryan was truly busy building the small tire car for the 405 races, while at the same time building the small tire car for the Street Outlaws Endgame, so he and his buddy Javy might not have enough time to improve the Gray Fireball Camaro, for the upcoming races. However, beating Jeff Lutz and Lizzy Musi, Ryan tells us that he and that gray car are still pretty fast and advance to final to face Daddy Dave. He sealed the top rank with a win over his fellow 405 competitor at Tulsa Raceway Park. Overall, Ryan Martin has managed to grab three wins and 80 points so far this year in the Great 8 series and is right behind him in second place by none other than the guy staging in the lane next to him in the final - Daddy Dave, who has 40 points and two event wins. Dave, got to the finals after winning his races against Jerry Bird and Justin Swanstrom in the semi-finals. The fact that he is in the final racing against Ryan tells us all now it is time for him to shine and stop Ryan in his tracks and tell everybody that he is here to get to the top.
