- Daddy Dave Plans on Retiring Goliath from NPK?! Exclusive Hint!
With a Street Outlaws fan favorite such as Daddy Dave, his schedule isn’t simple. Instead, there are a ton of different things in motion at once. It can be easy to miss something as Dave is on the road every week, competing in lots of different racing series, each with their own set of challenges. Photo by Daddy Dave Racing Now that the chaos surrounding Daddy Dave’s new racing machine has settled, there are a couple of questions that have been circulating about his racing operation. Instead of American muscle, Dave’s new build has the looks of an Audi which is something that we haven’t seen in the scene just yet. There’s certainly a lot to unpack behind that build as well. As fans get excited and geared up for the quickly approaching No Prep Kings to see the Audi in action, some just simply couldn’t help but wonder what exactly was going to happen to Dave’s now-expired NPK hero, Goliath. The racer had made quite an impact on the NPK circuit with the Chevrolet Nova. As a consistent top competitor, perhaps Goliath would be worth a large sum of money for the right buyer. However, instead of fishing around to see what the iconic Chevy is worth, Dave has other plans. It seems as if he will keep Goliath in action to some extent. Photo by Daddy Dave Racing After taking a bit of a break from YouTube, Dave hopped back on his vlog channel, Daddy Dave Racing, to give fans an update, including the fact that he plans on retiring Goliath from NPK. The car isn’t going to be retired entirely, though, as Dave plans to take it back to the street, the surface that the car was built for. Photo by Daddy Dave Racing In addition, he informed us that the car isn’t going to be ditching its 28-inch small tire setup, either. Much like the current state of the Street Outlaws show that gives fans a little bit of a throwback to simpler times with simpler builds, Dave tells us that Goliath on a 28-inch tire turns the clocks back to the old days. Below, we get the full state of the union on Dave’s garage but it isn’t limited to Goliath. We also get a tour of the Monte Carlo that he has been working on as Dave gives fans the details that they have been hungry for! Video by Daddy Dave Racing
- Throwback Shows Richard Rawlings CRASH While Testing Car for A Race Against Street Outlaws
One of the wild things about drag racing is that competitors quite know what’s right over the horizon. One moment, everything can be going according to plan and the next, everything is literally going sideways as a machine might fail right underneath its driver and leave that individual in a precarious situation. This time, the stage was set as Street Outlaws would have a pair of awesome machines going head-to-head. As we would later find out, things wouldn’t quite go as according to plan. That aforementioned unexpected change of plans happens to come to light as Richard Rawlings and his car wouldn’t be able to make this thing turn around in his favor. This is the car that the Gas Monkey Garage build for the brand new race against the Street Outlaws, and with it these guys are planning to show the Street Outlaws guys that it is not that hard to make a drag race car, or is it. Photo by DMAX UK While we have seen Richard Rawlings and the guys from his garage make some incredible machines, today they are swimming in water full of sharks, and let us tell you, it is not easy staying above water. With this being the first time the car is at the track, it is normal for it to have a few things that need replacing right then and there as well as things getting setup the correct way. Experienced racers perform this so called shakedown whose purpose is to basically see what stays on the car, what falls off, and what needs fixing or setting up. These guys unwillingly do the same thing because as soon as they start the burnout they start discovering stuff that needs to be setup properly before they are even able to make a safe pass. Unfortunately for these guys, they will not be able to put down a pass, instead they will be pulling the trailer on the very track to load up the car and try to get it ready for the race. Photo by DMAX UK The video down below that shows off the extent of the hard-to-watch situation. Check out what happened, and remember the most important part is that nobody got hurt in the process of this unexpected shakedown. Video by DMAX UK
- Video: Highlights of No Prep Kings Perth
With next showing of Street Outlaws No Prep Kings nearly upon us at Willowbank Raceway, check out what went down a week ago in Perth. There was a fair bit of carnage on the no prep surface, the American’s won both days – (7 to 1 and 5 to 3) – though the Australians fought back on the second day as they come to terms of what this style of racing is all about. Highlights include Jeff Lutz versus John Zappia. Lutz had the “hit” in their first match up and Zappia couldn’t reel the GTO back in. Their second race was heads up, Lutz again grabbing the win with Zap forced to pedal the Monaro. Young gun Connor Begley scored the most popular win of the event, defeating the OG Murder Nova. - Ryan Martin First Win After The Wreck - Street Outlaws Vs Australia
As many of us know at this point, Ryan Martin and his Phoenix Camaro went down the lanes at the No Prep Kings race at Perth Motorplex only to be met with an abrupt ending. The first-generation Camaro made a move toward the wall when he shut it down. Then he tried to steer out of trouble but the car made contact with the retaining wall. Photo by Fireball Camaro When speaking on what exactly caused the accident, Ryan didn’t seem to have a definitive answer. However, from what Ryan tells us, the damage to his car was a little bit unsightly but things weren’t exactly as bad as they looked. In fact, the boys from Moits Motorcars actually “lent” Ryan his front-end because getting a carbon fiber front-end for a first-generation Camaro in Australia is extremely hard. It means that they actually took the front-end of their own car to put it on Ryan’s car. Photo by Fireball Camaro After being asked if the incident shook Ryan up at all, he seemed to respond in his confidence in the build, specifically the chassis builder, saying that the incident really didn’t shake him at all. Things would seem to turn around as No Prep Kings headed to Willowbank Raceway where Ryan was able to go home with a victory. In the showing, Ryan Martin really broke out his abilities, giving us all the idea that he isn’t going to back down even after a stumble with the Phoenix. Below, Off The Trailer Racing guys were on the scene to show off the racing. As usual, the racing is top notch and something to really grab the old bucket of popcorn and dig into. - Monza VS Felicia Smith - Revenge for Another 405 Racer
One of the things that we can’t help but love about the new season of Street Outlaws is just how varied the field of cars has been so far. This is something that fan favorite, Murder Nova, couldn’t help but point out himself when talking a little bit about a matchup between Monza and Felicia Smith. Photo by Discovery Aside from the fact that both cars in this battle are American-made, the pair of competitors couldn’t be any more different. Even for those who have no idea that Monza is a seasoned professional who is incredibly familiar with the Street Outlaws format and Felicia Smith is a Street Outlaws newcomer who is decades younger, the differences stick out like a sore thumb. Photo by Discovery On one side of this battle, we have Monza’s Pontiac Grand Prix which is incredibly clean and we would venture to think that maybe he spent a good amount of money getting a pristine example but the G-body platform is one that one could get without completely blowing up the bank. In the next lane over, Smith presents something that’s much more modern, a Cadillac CTS-V that’s 50+ years newer and really a whole different ballgame of a machine. This time, though, the polar opposite pair goes head-to-head in the streets to see who, on this particular night, would have what it takes to reign supreme. Below, we check in with that action that makes this season of Street Outlaws special. Let’s just say that the street is the great equalizer whether you’re a newcomer or somebody with a ton of experience on your side. Will Monza be able to get another 405 racer to the next round or is Felicia Smith hiding something up her sleeve to help this big and heavy modern luxury sedan grab a victory over the odds on favorite? - Kye Kelley in Trouble Again in Willowbank Australia
Last year was definitely not the best year that Kye Kelley had in his racing career and there are numerous things that prove this. First, and we are pretty sure he would say the most important is the fact that his bellowed car, The Shocker ended up in a pile of broken parts after his friend David Gates crashed it during testing. The idea was that while his car was not finished and was probably not going to take him thru the Race You Way In part of the event, The Shocker is his best chance to get him thru the selection and have him in Kye Kelley’s corner for the rest of the races. Photo by Street Outlaws Unfortunately, in their heist, they did not “walk the track” and could not see that there was a pretty big amount of tree sap in the lane that he was testing in, which resulted in the car violently turning left, a maneuver that could not have been corrected in time to save the car from crashing. Honestly, we have never seen Kye Kelley so devastated after losing his bellowed car, but somehow, he managed to pull thru all this and get his other car back in the game and ready to race, which as funny as it might sound, ended up again in the hands of David Gates for the rest of the No Prep Kings season. Photo by Street Outlaws Be that as it may, today we find him in trouble again, as he races halfway around the world from his home in Willowbank Australia, and right from the staging procedure, or from the burnout to be exact, there are signs that something is not working as it should. Photo by Import Media Even the burnout itself is not looking good, so the run is not going to be any better either, so let us check out this video and see what happens next. Video by LMH METAL WORKS
- Mike Murillo diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer
According to latest Facebook post on Mike Murillo Racing, he has announced that he had been diagnosed with stage 4 Lung Cancer. He made a video to talk about this on his Facebook page. Photo by Mike Murillo Racing Murillo said that he began feeling sick again last June while the No Prep Kings were competing at Brainerd International Raceway in Brainerd, Minnesota. He had to go to the emergency room on the following Houston race. In his video, he said that he was diagnosed with an enlarged heart on June 29th. This enlarged heart was causing problems with his lungs. On July 22nd, he went in for a cat scan. The results showed a mass on his lung. He said that the doctors believed that the mass on his lung had to be there when he battled Covid in January 2021. “During that time, there was no reason for them to order anything else,” he said in the video. He added doctors drained 16 ounces of fluid off of his heart. Then on August 15th, he was diagnosed with stage 4 Lung Cancer. “Either you fight or flight,” he said “after 24 hours, I decided that I was going to fight this. Treatment have been scheduled.” This is not a good news for racing community since Murillo has just suffered double knee replacement surgery in the beginning of February. However, he still keeps a positive attitude and upbeat mindset for continued healing. People is calling him an absolute inspiration and sending lots of prayers. Photo by Mike Murillo Racing
- Ride with Chuck in His Dad's Fault '66 Chevelle
It seems as if, no matter how accomplished one might get in the world of wheels, at our core, we all truly appreciate the same simple things. Whether it’s the feeling of horsepower hitting you in the face when you take off from the starting line or just a simple night hanging out in the garage and shooting the sh*t with a couple of buddies, these basic yet incredibly gratifying moments are why many enthusiasts partake in the hobby on some level. Fortunately, through the power of technology and social media, fans are able to join in on these cool moments on a level like never before with some of their favorite racers. In this particular situation, we get a unique opportunity to go behind the scenes on Chuck Seitsinger Racing Youtube Channel as he is heading over to The McKee's shop for a few upgrades on his ‘66 Chevelle. He put everybody on notice that he can still build small tire cars, and make them faster than the rest of the competition. His small tire Fox Body Mustang has been beating the fastest in the 405 area and is probably one of the fastest cars the 405 crew has on hand regarding small tires. Photo by Chuck Seitsinger Racing Today we bring you a video that features his Chevelle just like the one that his father had back in 1979 and the most important thing is that Chuck’s father had raced his Chevelle and to Chuck, this was the fastest car he had seen as a kid. This showroom quality build is something that we cannot take our eyes off and at the very beginning, Chuck tells everybody that this is one of those cars that stays in the family for quite a long time and he would never give it up. Photo by Chuck Seitsinger Racing So why don’t we check out his father’s legacy and hear much more about it, while watching this amazing 1966 Chevelle with a big block under the hood and a four-speed manual transmission as he takes a ride to McKee’s Shop to get even more upgrades for it? - A Devastating Loss for Jeff Lutz!
During the filming of an episode of Street Outlaws 405 small tire show, Jeff Lutz was defeated by 405 racer Felicia Smith. On the night, she improved to 2-0 as she was 1-0 coming to the race. Photo by Discovery The two cars used had a 50-year difference, according to Shawn Ellington in the post. Smith got a huge jump on Lutz early on in the race. She then put a gap between a two cars. Photo by Discovery Lutz, the former Drag Week winner, was to about half-track when Smith crossed the finish line. Ellington felt like she was going to smoke the tires. However, Kamikaze Chris did not have the same feeling. “Totally my fault,” Lutz said. “Some must not have had boost. In the race against Felicia, Shawn banged the light and we left together. Then, my car fell on its fac. It was like it shut off. She was just driving out of my life. Junior has to get it figured out. We can’t be losing like this”. - Dominator’s New Car “Dartona” getting finished for No Prep Kings Season 6!!
Street Outlaws fans are in for a treat as the highly anticipated No Prep Kings Season 6 is just around the corner. And with it comes the latest creation from one of the most renowned racers on the show, Dominator. This time, he is coming with a new car called the “Dartona,” a custom-built Dodge Dart with a unique and eye-catching design. Dominator has been a staple in the Street Outlaws racing community for many years and has built a reputation for himself as a skilled builder and tuner. Over the years, he has been seen driving several different vehicles on the show, but his latest creation, the Dartona, is unlike anything we have seen from him before. This car is a combination of a Dodge Dart and a Dartona front end, which gives it a distinctive and futuristic look. The Dartona is also built to perform, with a Noonan twin turbo Hemi engine under the hood. The Hemi engine is known for its exceptional power, and when combined with twin turbos, it can produce incredible speed. This makes the Dartona one of the most powerful vehicles on the No Prep Kings track. The aerodynamics of the car have also been improved, which will allow it to run at higher speeds than its predecessor, the original Dart. Dominator has always been someone who likes to do things his way, and this is evident in the way he builds his cars. He builds and tunes his vehicles himself, which sets him apart from other racers on the show who often have professional chassis builders work on their cars. This may make it harder for Dominator to compete against other racers, but it also gives him a unique advantage as he knows every aspect of his car inside and out. In the upcoming No Prep Kings Season 6, fans can expect to see Dominator push the Dartona to its limits. The car’s new design and improved performance make it one of the most exciting vehicles on the track. And with Dominator behind the wheel, we can be sure to see some intense racing action. In conclusion, Dominator’s Dartona is a unique and highly anticipated addition to the No Prep Kings Season 6 lineup. With its impressive design and powerful performance, fans can expect to see some incredible racing from Dominator and the Dartona. Whether you’re a fan of Street Outlaws or just a lover of fast cars, the Dartona is definitely worth keeping an eye on this season.

Street Outlaws have been on TV for quite some time. Did you know it has been 10 years? According to the Farmtruck and AZN social media account, it has indeed been 10 years since they began filming. The show debuted in 2013. Photo by Street Outlaws “Today, Feb. 1st 2023, marks the 10-year anniversary of Streetoutlaws first day of filming”, Farmtruck and AZN said in social media post. “We owe the last 10 crazy years to you guys watching and supporting us. Also, to everyone who has helped us along the way. We sure as hell didn't do this alone. Thank you for believing in us! Now excuse us while we go watch episode 1 of season 1! "Midnight Riders".... which was actually the name of the show before it was called Street Outlaws! 🤣 Thank goodness they changed it!” Photo by Farmtruck and AZN According to Wikipedia page, Street Outlaws TV show began on the Discovery Channel on June 10th, 2013. - Brandon James Putting Mustang Back Together and Unveiling New No Prep Kings Car
Brandon James is the driver that came in at the biggest Cash Days that The Street Outlaws have ever organized as a guy that nobody knew, and at the end, he drove off with everybody’s money in his pocket. While we are not sure if he managed to win on the first cash days ever that he entered, we all remember that when he first started racing in the competition, nobody was paying him any attention, however, all that changed as the finals started rolling in. Photo by Brandon FkN James During the first few rounds, it was suddenly obvious that the road is terrible and the usual favorites like Big Chief, Murder Nova, Ryan Martin, JJ Da Boss, Axman, and many more, will not be able to use all that power and all of a sudden many of them found themselves to be the underdogs in this event. A few rounds into the race, this new kid from California was starting to get everybody’s attention and folks realized that this street is the real equalizer that might just be that this underdog is heading to the top of the field. After winning the event as well and a pretty hefty amount of cash to go along with the bragging rights as the fastest street racer, Brandon got an invite to join the rest of the Street Outlaws gang in the No Prep Kings Championship, where he can show the rest of the guys that him winning an event was not a one-time deal. In the past few seasons of the No Prep Kings Championship, he managed to get to the finals and raced against Jerry Bird, however, he did not manage to win the entire event and put his hands on the $40,000 grand prize. This time, we bring you some photos that premiers his brand-new setup for the sixth season which he hopes will get him to the top of the leaderboard with guys like Ryan Martin, Kye Kelley, Jerry Bird, and the rest of the gang. The 1969 Camaro ‘Jezebel’ - Photos by Brandon FkN James Then, Brandon James gives some updates about his Mustang. “We get plenty of people asking about the status of the Mustang and whether we are going to fix it or not, well here is the video those people have been waiting for. All the updates of the Mustang and our goals with it. Be sure to follow all of our socials to stay up to date with what's going on with the program and what is next.” So let us check out the video and see what kind of progress we can expect from him this year.
