Ryan Martin, the talented driver known for his remarkable skills behind the wheel, has been facing a challenging season with his current vehicle, the War Machine. As excitement builds, enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the return of the iconic red car, fondly referred to as the OG Fireball Camaro. The War Machine just made it to the 3rd Round at New England Dragway. Photo by Richard Rowe In the main Invitational event of Street Outlaws, Ryan Martin has encountered a series of obstacles while driving the War Machine. Despite his undeniable talent and years of experience, the current season has proven to be a tough battle for him. The War Machine, although a formidable car in its own right, has struggled to perform at its peak, resulting in disappointing results for Ryan in the point standings. Motivated to reclaim his competitive prowess, Ryan has voiced his determination to make a comeback on the track with a renewed strategy. Despite speculations surrounding the Fireball Camaro's potential return featuring a screw blower, Ryan has clarified that addressing the power adder is not their primary concern at the moment. Photo by CPaulshock Photography Ryan Martin has hinted at the possibility of staging a comeback with a different vehicle or a completely new setup, leaving fans eagerly awaiting confirmation. Over the weekend, an intriguing development unfolded as Javi, Ryan's esteemed crew chief, was spotted preparing the red Fireball Camaro, distinct from the War Machine. Notably, this particular Camaro is equipped with a pro-charge Proline Hemi engine, a setup that has previously demonstrated success. Javi was preparing the Pro-charge Proline Hemi red car. Photo by Javi Canales In the upcoming weeks, extensive testing will be conducted on both the red Fireball Camaro and the War Machine, encompassing various track conditions. The primary objective is to determine which car performs better, particularly in challenging scenarios. Whether faced with less-than-ideal track conditions or a perfectly suited environment, the team aims to ascertain the superior contender in terms of speed and tuning capabilities. It is worth noting that the red Fireball Camaro does not utilize a screw blower. As mentioned earlier, the current regulations and limitations regarding overdrive and weight make the pro charger a more efficient choice as a power adder within this context. Ryan and his team are fully aware of these considerations and have made a calculated decision to explore the potential of the pro charge combination. - The Coolest and Most Beloved Cars We've Seen on Street Outlaws
The American reality TV series Street Outlaws premiered on Discovery Channel in 2013, and it's currently in season 14 with over 100 episodes aired so far. The show which initially followed Oklahoma City's Big Chief and his infamous "list," now becomes so successful. With the help of Chief’s buddy and business partner Murder Nova, you get to see people like Daddy Dave, Doc, Farmtruck, AZN, Chuck, Ryan Martin, Jeff Lutz, and others. Besides the drama, the juggling egos, and trash talk that happens on the show, it’s almost impossible to ignore the highlight of the show – which is the street racing. Now the big question here is what kind of cars do the cast actually drive to make the event memorable? These are the coolest and most beloved cars that have been featured on Street Outlaws. 1. 1963 Chevrolet Nova II “Goliath 2.0” One of the stars of Street Outlaws, Dave "Daddy" Comstock is the owner of a 1963 Chevrolet Nova II dubbed “Goliath 2.0”. Daddy Dave was first known for driving a heavily modified 1996 GMC Sonoma S10 pickup truck, but he later switched to the Goliath 2.0 in a bid to move to the top of the list. Engine management is by Fueltech, tuned by Dave and his guys The system works well, too, as the car fired right up and drove to our photo-shoot location without a hiccup, even though temperatures were in the low 40s. Nitrous is Dave's power-adder of choice, and he runs a Nitrous Express fogger system in Goliath. Goliath 2.0 was built in about 8 months, and it features Brodix block and heads, SRP pistons and a Moser M9 fabricated 9-inch joined with a four-link suspension. 2. 1981 Chevrolet El Camino “The ElCo” The 1981 Chevrolet El Camino dubbed the "The ElCo" is a fan favorite car that is driven by Chris "Kamikaze" Day. The ElCo was originally owned by Kamikaze's childhood friend Tyler "Flip" Priddy, who unfortunately passed away and the insane G-body eventually found its way to Chris' garage, where he spared no expense to make the car what it is today. We like the ElCo so much because anyone with time and a little ingenuity can build their own version, and Chris believes that's part of the reason the car is so popular. From the satin black paint job to the beat-up body panels and mismatched wheels, they all give the car a sense of being an underdog, especially when it's lined up next to a $500K Pro Mod or a similar, big-dollar machine. Being a grudge racer, Chris was vague when asked about his horsepower numbers and tune-up information, saying, "It's enough to piss people off, and there's a comma in the number." However, he was quick to remind us of the time he beat a high-power Pro Mod in Kansas, meaning the Elco is no joke and should not be taken as such. 3. 1972 Camaro Rally Sport Jerry “Monza” Johnston is one racer that's not afraid to go for what he loves. Even though the 1975 Chevrolet Monza with nitrous oxide was Jerry's claim to fame, he says in this interview that he has always loved the 1972 Chevy Camaro Rally Sport with a twin-turbo setup. Jerry turned a '72 split-bumper Camaro RS into a street race car, which he says many people thought was a crazy idea. The Camaro Rally Sport is powered by a 572 cubic inch engine that makes up to 4,000 horsepower. 4. 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo James "Doc" Love was one of the Street Outlaws racers that wowed fans with his racing prowess throughout his time on the show. James dubbed his Monte Carlo "The Street Beast" because it's a true beast on the street. According to Streetoutlawsokc, Doc is number four on “The List,” and he plans to take his rightful spot—which is number one. The 1970 Chevy Monte Carlo uses a 706 Cubic inch big block Chevy engine. It also has a turbo 400 Ace Racing Transmission alongside three Monte Smith nitrous kits. 5. 1989 Ford Fox Body Mustang “Death Trap” Chuck Seitsinger is one of the Street Outlaws veterans, and he owns a 1989 Ford Mustang, which he calls the "Death Trap". Whether professionally at the Nitrous Express P/4 XBOX Cup Championship or on the street, Chuck has always been at the top of his game. His small-tire '89 Mustang outran big-tire cars in the OKC. According to Hotrod, the car uses a 429 cubic inch small block Chevy SBC engine. It also has a Braswell 4375 area 51 carburetor. Chuck has proven on several occasions that he drives the fastest small tire car in the 405. 6. 1969 Chevrolet Nova "Murder Nova" The very definition of badass, Shawn Ellington's 1969 Nova is one of the most well-known cars in the country. It's equipped with a pair of 88mm Pro Mod turbochargers from Precision. The 572 cubic inch engine makes up to 3,400 horsepower with a GM 210 turbo 400 transmission. Murder Nova works with FuelTech's FT500 sequential-port fuel-injection system. Even though Shawn has a 1955 Chevy, he gets the adrenaline rush he desires with the 1969 Nova. 7. 1972 Pontiac LeMans “The Crow” Justin "Big Chief" Shearer is one of the oldest members of Street Outlaws and his 1972 Pontiac LeMans dubbed "The Crow" is a very special car. The Crow is actually Big Chief's first car, which has been with him since he was 16. It's also his daily driver, and he even went on his first date in the Pontiac LeMans. Chief has some experience when it comes to cars and street racing. He usually calls his car “The Crow” and it’s a 1972 Pontiac Lemans. Initially, Chief was using a pro-mod version, but he felt that it shouldn’t be racing on “The List.” We don’t doubt his decisions because Big Chief was number one on “The List.” 8. 2010 Chevrolet Camaro “Fireball Camaro” Ryan Martin is one cast member on the show that fans can hardly forget because he was in the business of helping others climb up “The List.” It doesn’t come as a surprise anyway considering that he is a co-owner of the B&R Performance. He hit the streets with his super-fast Camaro. The Fireball Camaro is a 2010 5th Generation Camaro SS that uses a twin turbo engine.

Within the action-packed schedule of 15 events for No Prep Kings Season 6, the potential inclusion of a four wide race undoubtedly emerges as a highly anticipated highlight, injecting a refreshing twist into the customary race format. Although the race duration may be shorter due to the reduced number of rounds in the 32-car Invitational, the sheer exhilaration of witnessing four cars competing side by side is certain to compensate for any brevity. Photo by Street Outlaws Live The inclusion of a four wide NPK event also sparks fascinating inquiries regarding the scoring system. In the standard protocol, the victor of an NPK race earns five points. However, with a diminished number of rounds, adaptations may be required. Will the event grant double points or employ a points and a half system, akin to previous seasons? This enticing contemplation adds an additional level of exhilaration and unpredictability to the equation, heightening the anticipation for both participants and fans, as they await the official decision. It is essential to recognize that the adoption of the four wide format is not yet confirmed. The event organizers retain the option to choose a more traditional two-lane race configuration. Nevertheless, numerous fans, including the author, share the belief that the four-lane setup represents a remarkable chance to push the limits of what is achievable in NPK racing. Such a bold move would create an unparalleled experience, setting it apart from any other racing spectacle. Photo by Street Outlaws Live As we anxiously await official confirmation of this groundbreaking development, Street Outlaws continues to keep its devoted fans on the edge of their seats.
