- Americas List Season 3 Is Going To Get Canceled As Soon As Big Chief Left
During the America’s list racers have proven they’re willing to do whatever it takes to become the drivers who can go down any road, anywhere, anytime. And for the first time ever, racers from OKC, Memphis, Texas, NOLA, Detroit, Cali and everywhere in between will be ranked on a single list compiled of the best, baddest and fastest racers in the nation. Photo by Discovery Channel As we all know, another season of the popular Street Outlaws America’s List show is behind us and the winner is Ryan Martin and his popular red OG Fireball Camaro. First of all, we would like to congratulate the winner Ryan Martin, who showed that he and Javy are the people to beat on the streets of America, no matter where and when you line up against them on the streets. Photo by Fireball Camaro Facebook However, we also would like to mention JJ Da Boss and the rest of the Memphis crew who managed to get the famous Hummingbird back on the street after an incredibly devastating crash and not only get it running but managed to climb all the way to the top spot, only to be taken down by Ryan and end up at a respectable second place. In addition to JJ Da Boss, we cannot forget the success of Axman who had the best winning ratio out of all the racers and managed to climb all the way to the top 5. Photo by Discovery Channel Kye Kelley is the next racer that deserves credit, because, after a terrible start that included David Gates totaling the Shocker and leaving Kye without a race car, he managed to get his NPK car Aftershock to the racing location and slap Lizzy’s spare motor and still finished third, using the races as a shakedown for the brand-new combo that emerged from the crash. So what did all this incredible drama mean for the ratings of the show? Well, to be honest, we were expecting a rise in ratings and views of the show, but it appears that unfortunately, the show had a smaller impact on the public and the viewers than last season. Ratings by https://showbuzzdaily.com Let’s get right into the rating of season 1 which took place between April 21st, 2021 to July 5th, 2021. As you can see the table here, the ratings were pretty good started from 911,000 and 946,000 then the third episode, the third weekend, they hit over one million viewers. The show also did it second time in week seven where they actually had their highest ratings for an episode with 1.041,000 total viewers. Those numbers are definitely mind-blowing. Ratings by https://showbuzzdaily.com Looking at the ratings of season 2 from March 21st to June 27, 2022 the viewers were much lower but it was much more consistent. Almost every single episode was within the seven hundred thousand range for the viewers. Is this due to the fact that Big Chief is no longer the race master, or is it something else, that’s a big question until now. A lot of people have been saying America’s List is going to get canceled because the view is being lower. However, looking at the total views of season 2 and its rank overall the shows on TV, Street Outlaws America’s List is still in the top 50 TV Shows, there’s no mean that it’s going to get canceled. Furthermore, the show, the big tire cars, the out-of-town guys besides the 405 guys have got the big name on the street racing, so there is no reason for them to step away from that show. Ratings by https://showbuzzdaily.com What is your thought on the difference between season 1 and season 2 of Street Outlaws America’s List? Is it about the actual content itself or Big Chief wasn’t in season 2? Let’s talk about your reaction to the actual numbers of views in the below comment section.

However, she has not been seen on the show since 2020, leaving viewers wondering about her whereabouts. Although Molly has not shared the reason for her absence, it does not necessarily mean she has given up racing altogether. Instead, she has been focusing on her family, personal life, and interior design interests. Who is Mallory Gulley and her racing experience Mallory was born on December 31st, 1996, and spent her childhood in Jonesboro, Arkansas, with her parents Kenneth and Cari Gulley, and her sister Natalie. Mallory Gulley’s Father, Kenneth Gulley Was A Street Racer For 25 Years Photo by Mallory Gulley Mallory Gulley’s father, Kenneth Gulley, had made a name for himself in the car business for a very long time. That’s the only reason why the name Gulley sounds so familiar. Kenneth is the owner of a company named Gulley Garage. He is often featured on Street Outlaws: Memphis. We can say he’s like a gearhead who has a good experience when it comes to cars. Photo by Kenneth Gulley Kenneth also grew up in a racing environment. He had a long career in racing for almost 25 years. The man devoted his life to make the fastest toys and cars in his life. He is known to have 2003 Chevy s10, which is also known as Bounty Hunter. Mallory Gulley’s Dad Accused In Street Outlaws Lawsuit In September 2018, Kenneth Gulley and JJ da Boss faced allegations in a lawsuit where Genny Larkin and Chad sued the Discovery Channel, claiming that Mallory's father and JJ assaulted them during filming. The lawsuit alleged that Kenneth and the other defendant chased Larkin and physically attacked him by throwing punches. Photo by Kenneth Gulley "When Larkin turned around, his wife, Plaintiff Genny Larkin yelled, ‘look out.’ When Larkin turned around, Defendant Day and the other two individuals were running across the street at him. Day and ‘Bounty Hunter’ threw punches at Larkin and tackled him to the ground," the lawsuit read. "As Larkin went down, he felt immediate pain in his leg, as though his ‘muscles and tendons were ripping.’ At that point Larkin was on his back with his face exposed. The Bounty Hunter and Day continued the assault, punching Larkin in the face repeatedly and kicking him in the ribs.” The suit adds, “As the assault continued, Larkin literally believed the Street Outlaws were attempting to kill him. He literally feared for his life.” The lawsuit claims that the producers of the show did not take any action to prevent the alleged assault. “Rather, the camera crew and producers continued filming. In fact, incredibly, one of the producers instructed a camera man to get closer and get a better shot.” Photo by Memphis Street Racer JJdaBoss As per the lawsuit, when Larkin's spouse tried to intervene and remove the Memphis Street Outlaws from her partner, “a female member of the Memphis Street Outlaws grabbed the back of her head and pulled her to the ground by her hair, resulting in physical and emotional injury.” Discovery had no comment on the lawsuit.
- Murder Nova Same Engine Combo with Ryan Martin?! NPK Getting A Little Twist This Year!
The highly-anticipated No Prep Kings Season 6 is just around the corner, and fans of the show are eager to know what engine combination the infamous Murder Nova will be running this year. Photo by CPaulshock Photography For those who may not be familiar with the show, No Prep Kings is a popular drag racing series that pits some of the fastest street racers against each other in a no-prep format, where the racers have to race on an unprepared track surface, without any traction compound. The Murder Nova is one of the most iconic cars on the show, and it's no surprise that fans are eagerly awaiting news on what engine combo the car will be running this season. The car, which is owned by Shawn Ellington, has undergone several transformations over the years, with each iteration becoming more powerful and faster than the last. Photo by Murder Nova For the upcoming season, Shawn has been keeping the details of the engine combo under wraps, but there are a few rumors and speculations going around. One of the most popular theories is that the car will be running a twin-turbocharged LS engine, which is a common choice for many of the top racers on the show. In his original plan, he intended to use the OG car with a pro-charge Hemi, but he later changed his mind and purchased a new Proline Hemi mh7 engine. It appears that this season, like his fellow racer Ryan Martin, he will be using a pro-charge setup. This new setup is expected to provide a significant boost to the Murder Nova, especially since the rules for the no-prep Kings setup are so close. Since Sean has been using a pro-charger setup for a long time, he knows how to fine-tune them for optimal performance. Photo by Murder Nova But what about the possibility of a team deal? While nothing has been officially confirmed, fans are speculating that Ryan and Sean may share data and support each other if they end up with the same combination. This type of collaboration has been seen before at Mega Cash Days, where the OG Murder Nova and Ryan's Camaro shared the same engine setup. Photo by Fireball Camaro Regardless of what engine combo the Murder Nova will be running, fans are sure to be in for a thrilling season. Shawn Ellington and his team have always been known for pushing the boundaries and setting new records, and there's no doubt that they will be doing the same this year. - Justin “Big Chief” Shearer Won “War In The Woods” But Not Get Paid
Justin Shearer, indisputably the face of the “Street Outlaws” franchise since its debut on Discovery nearly a decade ago, has been outspoken in recent months about his desire to stick to his simple street racing roots, and to do things his way. Putting those words into action, he chose not to participate in the recent season of “America’s List” because he did not agree with the rules for the taping of Street Outlaws America’s List. And so, on the same weekend his Oklahoma City racing peers were in Mohnton, Pennsylvania competing with all the glitz of the “No Prep Kings” series, fans of speed saw Shearer and girlfriend, Jackie Braasch, were competing at one of the nation’s least-known drag strips. Big Chief’s 1970 Pontiac GTO, the “Crow” Justin “Big Chief” Shearer scored a popular victory in his first no-prep appearance of the season at Brown County Dragway’s “War In The Woods” event Sunday afternoon. Shearer, driving his familiar 1970 Pontiac GTO, the “Crow” outlasted a host of big-tire challengers over the course of two days of rain-hampered eliminations, ultimately defeating Tim Bailey and his “Krusty” turbocharged C-10 pickup in the final. Shearer had been eyeing and preparing for War In The Woods, put on annually by Jeff Thomas at Brown County Raceway. Justin “Big Chief” Shearer was getting ready to make a pass in his race car (photo by Justin Shearer Instagram) “Justin Shearer did not get paid to attend the race,” Thomas said in a Facebook post. “He didn’t ask for any special treatment at all. In fact, he specifically asked to be treated the same as everyone else. Dude just wanted to come race and get back to where it all started! I think it’s great for the sport in general and the fans!! Anyone who questioned if he would get down Brown County Dragway well now you know!! Lol. For everyone who says it’s so dangerous and you can’t get stopped on the big end this should clear that up!! “There was an issue first round in big tire when big chief raced Kerry in the black widow. Chief started his burnout and was told to stop by a track worker so chip draw could be finished. This was 100% a miscommunication mistake which I take full responsibility for! At any rate they pushed chief back and it was hot as hell, he took his helmet off and was waiting and then track workers said fire ‘em up. Chief didn’t have his helmet on and it took a min for him to get ready and Kerry had already fired up and was doing his burnout. This was just bad communication on our end and due to some problems with walkie talkies. We will learn from this and it won’t happen again!! In no way was big chief trying to burn down Kerry. Thought it would be better to address this and move on! This is legit exactly what happened!!” Justin Shearer previously said that he would only come back to the show for the 405 show. “I’m pretty much here,” he said late in the appearance. “I’m pretty much doing my own thing. The 405 show would be the only way if it was something different. That one means so much but it only means so much if it’s the same thing. If it’s not then it doesn’t mean sh*t to me.”
- Jeff Lutz First Race after Terrible Crash Is in A Risky New Car
Jeff Lutz is a well-known name in the world of drag racing. He's a seasoned veteran who has spent many years behind the wheel of some of the fastest and most powerful cars in the world. He is a talented driver who has achieved great success over the years, earning a reputation as a fierce competitor who is willing to take risks in order to win. However, after a terrible crash, many wondered if Jeff would ever race again. But he has not only returned to the track, he's doing so in a risky new car. The accident that Jeff suffered was a serious one, and it left him with some physical and emotional scars. After spending months recovering and reflecting, he made the decision to return to racing. And he's doing so in a car that's even more challenging than his previous ones. In 2021, Jeff got into a car accident with his '57 Chevy, which led him to require a new car. Being a fan of GTOs, Jeff saw this as an opportunity to utilize a GTO body and install another reliable big block Chevy engine under the hood. It's a beast of a machine, with a twin-turbo 540 cubic inch big block Chevy from Vinson Racing Engines that can generate over 4,000 horsepower! It's also incredibly fast, capable of reaching speeds of over 200 miles per hour in just a few seconds. But it's also a risky car to drive, even for someone as experienced as Jeff. He's worried that his nerves will get the best of him as he prepares to hit the road once again, particularly since he'll be racing in a car that wasn't built for the street. Photo by Discovery Australia Jeff's anxiety is understandable. After all, racing a high speeds is inherently dangerous. There are countless variables that can impact a race, from weather conditions to mechanical failures to the skill of the driver behind the wheel. When you're driving a car that was designed and built specifically for racing, there's a certain level of comfort that comes with knowing that every component of the vehicle has been engineered to perform optimally on the track. But when you're racing in a car that wasn't designed for street use, there are additional challenges to contend with. Photo by Discovery Australia Despite these risks, Jeff is undaunted. He sees the car as a challenge, one that he's determined to master. He's been spending countless hours testing and tuning the vehicle, working with his crew to get it just right. And while he knows that there's always a risk of another accident, he's confident that he can handle the car and avoid any serious crashes. Photo by Discovery Australia For Jeff, racing is more than just a hobby or a profession - it's a way of life. He's spent countless hours fine-tuning his skills and honing his craft, and he's always eager for the next opportunity to test himself against the best in the business. While there may be some anxiety and uncertainty involved in racing in a car that wasn't built for the street, Jeff knows that he has the talent, dedication, and drive to succeed. And with that mindset, he's sure to make his mark on the racing world once again. Video by Discovery Australia
- Kye Kelley STORMS OFF After Being Caught Red-Lighting
Discussions regarding various ideas can continue for hours on end in the street and grudge racing community. Regardless of the correctness of an argument or situation, these types of races tend to keep the argument alive by bending the situation in one person’s favor. This is because everyone is trying to gain a competitive advantage through a little bit of hustling. If one does not take part in this game, they may end up on the receiving end of somebody else’s hustle. The balance between competition and hustling is what draws people to entertainment offered up on platforms like Street Outlaws. Street racing involves many variables, and there is always room for argument. However, on a race track, timing systems make it harder to argue. Leaving the starting line on time seems like something that does not leave room for argument since the sensors do not lie. But, do they? Photo by Street Outlaws Down in the video below, we witness a dispute that arose when Kye Kelley raced against the Fireball Camaro and drew a red light, indicating that the car left early. However, an argument can be made because the Shocker Chevrolet Camaro appeared to be stationary until after the light turned green. In racing, where even inches matter, it is possible that the Camaro was staged too close to the beams beyond what a human eye could perceive, or maybe the timing system had an error because even machines are not perfect. Photo by Rush Discovery NZ Regardless of whom one supports, this is a situation that can be argued in either direction. Personally, it is not a situation that I would like to be in the middle of and held responsible for determining the outcome. Photo by Rush Discovery NZ While some fans have disputed the decision, arguing that the timing system may have been incorrect or that the penalty was too harsh, others have accepted the decision and pointed out that the rules of the sport are clear regarding jump starts. Video by Rush Discovery NZ In the end, the incident involving Kye Kelley and Ryan Martin is a stark reminder that racing is a sport that demands respect and adherence to its rules. While the disqualification may be disappointing for fans of Kelley, it should be viewed as a necessary step to uphold the integrity of the sport and ensure a level playing field for all participants.
- Kayla Morton and Love Affair with Boosted GT
"Street Outlaws" is a reality TV series featuring experienced drag racers who compete in Oklahoma City for a significant prize and title. The show premiered in June 2013 and quickly gained popularity among male audiences for its impressive display of cars, competitive dynamics, and adrenaline-fueled races that keep viewers on the edge of their seats. While the producers and cast initially struggled to figure everything out, the show's popularity continued to grow as the crew developed their newfound passion for the program. Interestingly, they never expected it to become such a big hit. Most of the show's cast members share a passion for fast-moving vehicles and have an insatiable need for speed. One of the more intriguing subplots of the show revolves around Kayla Morton's relationship with Boosted GT, also known as Chris Hamilton. Fans are eager for an update on whether they are still together. Who is Kayla Morton? Kayla Morton is a well-known TV personality and skilled driver who rose to fame by appearing on "Street Outlaws" and being in a relationship with one of the racers, Boosted GT. With a father who was an ex-Pro Stock racer, Kayla has established a name for herself both on and off the track. Kayla has spoken about growing up in the garage and thriving in a male-dominated industry. Her passion for cars and racing developed naturally, and she continued to learn and improve over time. While she initially raced for fun as a hobby, she eventually realized that she could use her skills to make money and launched a custom vehicle restoration shop. Her primary car was a 1993 Ford Fox Body Mustang that was specifically customized for drag racing. When Discovery and the team were seeking new challengers for the spin-off series, Kayla received a call from Big Chief asking her to participate in the show. After years of being on the show, Kayla took a break from racing but announced the return of the Hot Mess Express in December 2021, hoping to climb the ranks and earn some titles. Although Kayla makes drag racing appear effortless, the sport has put her life in danger on multiple occasions. In early 2022, news reports revealed that the 28-year-old driver had been involved in an accident after her fuel line came loose during a test drive at Houston Raceway Park. Nevertheless, Kayla's passion for speed runs deep in her bloodline, and this setback did not deter her from continuing to pursue her dreams. Who is Boosted GT? Boosted GT, whose real name is Chris Hamilton, is a drag racer and reality TV personality who gained fame from his appearances on "Street Outlaws". Chris spent his early years in Fort Worth, Texas, where he was just a regular kid with a love for cars. His father was already an avid car enthusiast and taught Chris the basics of car mechanics, including how to modify, repair, and replace engines. This knowledge proved invaluable to him when he began racing, as he didn't have to rely on a mechanic to fix his car for him. He traded in his first car, a 1987 S10 Blazer, for a Mustang and eventually acquired his signature yellow 1995 Ford Mustang, which he fitted with a turbo to make it race-ready for street racing. Boosted GT's involvement with Street Outlaws began when he participated in a race against the Oklahoma City crew in Texas, and the producers approached him to join the show as a regular in the third season. His driving skills, knowledge of car modification, and magnetic personality made him a fan favorite, leading to his inclusion in the show's spin-off series, "Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings," which premiered in February 2018. When the producers asked him to be the race master for "Mega Cash Days," Boosted GT was honored and used his previous experience with Cash Days to prepare for the job. His level-headedness, professionalism, and ability to manage various personalities made him a perfect fit for the role. He learned that many drivers get nervous, angry, and agitated on the track, and that they rarely direct their anger towards the race master. Boosted GT's no-nonsense attitude, combined with his humility and calmness, have endeared him to viewers of the show. He has gained a reputation as a level-headed racer who can manage various personalities, which is why he was selected as the race master for "Mega Cash Days." The Journey of Kayla and Boosted Kayla Morton is not married, but she has been in a long-term relationship with Chris Hamilton, also known as Boosted GT, who is a fellow drag racer and a TV personality on "Street Outlaws." Their relationship blossomed after they raced against each other on the show, where Boosted GT emerged as the faster racer. While they were already familiar with each other through mutual friends in the racing industry, they officially started dating after Kayla was invited by Big Chief to join the show. Boosted GT and Kayla Morton had been friends before appearing on the show and respected each other as racers, maintaining a cordial relationship. However, their friendship quickly developed into love after they met on the show. Finding a partner who shares a passion for racing is challenging, and Kayla emphasized this when she mentioned, "It's incredibly difficult to find a partner who shares your passion for the sport and is so invested in it." Despite being a couple, they continued to compete against each other in races on the street. It's unclear whether they are married or not, but Kayla Morton and Chris Hamilton are proud parents to two children, Austin and Cooper. Austin, Kayla's oldest child who is believed to be from a previous relationship, turned 17 in late August of last year. Kayla and Chris welcomed their second son, Cooper, in 2015. Kayla posted an adorable photo of Cooper on Facebook wearing a onesie that says "Boosted Baby," announcing that he is the newest member of the STK Racing team. Austin and Cooper have spent a significant amount of their childhood at the racetrack, with Austin even following in the family's footsteps. At just 7 years old, Cooper is already showing a keen interest in racing. The family reportedly lives in Chris' home state of Texas. When did Kayla and Boosted's breakup happen? Many people have been curious about the status of Kayla Morton and Chris "Boosted GT" Hamilton's relationship, especially since it was a notable subplot on the show. According to some sources, their love for cars and racing wasn't enough to keep them together, though the reason for their split is unknown. It's possible that their busy schedules and parenting duties played a role. Kayla appeared in the latest season of the show, while Boosted GT has been out of the public eye, leading some to speculate that they are no longer together. In fact, fans believe they avoid each other on the show. Rumors suggest that Boosted GT has moved on with someone new, but this has not been confirmed. As for Kayla, there is no word on whether she has started a new relationship, as neither of their Instagram accounts indicate any new romantic interests. It appears that if they are dating new people, they are keeping it very private.
- Battle for The Fastest Street Camaro in America. Ryan Martin VS Tom Bailey Grudge Race
The Chevrolet Camaro has been a popular muscle car since its introduction in the late 1960s. Over the years, many car enthusiasts have modified their Camaros for increased speed and performance. But who has the fastest street Camaro in America? Let's take a closer look. In a recent YouTube video, a Camaro Pro Mod owned by Tom Bailey was crowned the owner of the fastest street-legal car in America. His "Your Mom" Camaro, a 1969 model travels across the country to challenge Ryan Martin's 2016 Camaro for the title of the fastest street driven Camaro in America. "Your Mom" '69 Camaro. Photo by Grudge Race "Fireball" '16 Camaro. Photo by Grudge Race For those unfamiliar with the name, Tom Bailey is a veteran competitor (and champion) of several drag-and-drive events. Not only does he own and drive the fastest street-legal car in America, he also manages Sick Week, a drag-and-drive event with a long waiting list, and publishes Sick the Magazine and a series of successful videos on YouTube. Tom Bailey '69 Camaro Pro Mod. Photo by Grudge Race Ryan Martin, who is the threepeat champion of the No Prep Kings series, is under hood of 504 cubic inch Proline motor, 98mm Twin Turbos, a factory wheelbase, meaning a full-fledged race car. On the other land, Tom Bailey and his street driven Pro Mod with 165 cubic inch of Steve Morris motor and 2 Twin 88m Turbos. The battle for title of the Fastest Street Camaro in America is going to be on fire! Photo by Grudge Race Tom's Camaro is capable of running the quarter-mile in just 6.3 seconds at a speed of 249 miles per hour. To put that into perspective, a stock Camaro SS can run the quarter-mile in the mid-12-second range at around 115 miles per hour. Of course, building a car like this is no easy feat. It takes a lot of time, money, and expertise to modify a Camaro to this level of performance. But for those who are willing to put in the work, the results can be truly impressive. It's worth noting that there are likely other Camaro owners out there who have built similarly fast cars. But for now, Tom's Camaro can rightfully claim the title of the fastest street Camaro in America. Photo by Grudge Race While building a car like this may not be practical or affordable for most people, it's still impressive to see what can be achieved with a little bit of ingenuity and a lot of dedication. And for those who are interested in drag racing, watching videos like this can be a thrilling experience. Down in below video, you can see Tom Bailey's 1969 Camaro is a true testament to the potential of the Chevy Camaro. With its incredible 2,500 horsepower and lightning-fast quarter-mile times, it's easy to see why it's considered the fastest street Camaro in America. And who knows? Maybe Ryan Martin's Camaro is waiting to claim that title for itself. Video by Grudge Race

- Legendary Showdown Ends with Huge Fireball: Kye Kelley VS Monza
The Street Outlaws franchise created a successful spin-off series last year called No Prep Kings, featuring the original stars of Street Outlaws, some of the guys from Street Outlaws New Orleans, and top names in the No Prep track racing world competing across the country for significant payouts and a season-long points series. The world of street racing is full of adrenaline, high-speed action, and intense rivalries. And no rivalry is more iconic than the one between Kye Kelley and Jerry "Monza" Johnston, two of the most skilled drivers in the Street Outlaws franchise. This season of Street Outlaws No Prep Kings features a showdown between the two legends in their new cars, the Aftershock and the Sinister Split Bumper Camaro. Photo by National No Prep Racing Association Kye Kelley, who gained notoriety for his third-gen Shocker Camaro, has built a new car specifically for No Prep racing called Aftershock. The car is designed to meet the regulations of the no prep world and has been carefully crafted to be one of the most formidable cars on the track. The car is powered by a massive horsepower engine and is equipped with a state-of-the-art suspension system to provide maximum traction and stability on the track. Kye Kelley Aftershock. The car was involved in a crash last year and was destroyed. But Monza did not give up on his beloved car and has rebuilt it with a new twin-turbo powerplant. The car looks almost identical to its previous version, with the exception of a matte black coat replacing the previous gloss black. Monza's Sinister Split Bumper Camaro. Photo by Motortrend The stage was set for an epic showdown between the two cars in the latest season of Street Outlaws No Prep Kings. As the two cars lined up on the starting line, the tension was palpable. The drivers revved their engines, and the crowd cheered as the race began. Photo by National No Prep Racing Association The Aftershock took an early lead, with Kye Kelley expertly navigating the car around the track. But the Sinister Split Bumper Camaro was not far behind. Monza's driving skills and the power of his car quickly closed the gap, and it looked like the race would be neck-and-neck. But then disaster struck. A nitrous backfire occurred on the Aftershock, indicating an issue with the car's tune. The explosion was harmless, but it caused Kye to lose his momentum, giving Monza the opportunity to take the lead and win the race. Photo by National No Prep Racing Association Although Kye Kelley's Aftershock did not emerge victorious in this race, the car is still one of the most formidable machines in the world of street racing. And with Monza's Sinister Split Bumper Camaro back in action, the stage is set for many more epic showdowns in the upcoming season of Street Outlaws No Prep Kings. The rivalry between these two drivers is far from over, and fans of the franchise can't wait to see what happens next. Video by National No Prep Racing Association
- Axman Takes Aim at Drag Racing for "Unlimited Money"
Larry Roach, also known as "Axman" because of the giant ax on the front and rear of his 1963 Chevy II, has one of the most recognizable cars in the no prep racing world. He has given up small tires for big ones and has found a new home in the no prep racing scene, becoming a regular on Discovery Channel's Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings. Photo by No Prep Racing During a No Prep interview, Larry Roach revealed that the reason he switched to drag racing was "unlimited" amount of money. "Really, what got me to switch over was the radial tire racing was just unlimited money. It was who was willing to blow their shit up and put another engine in right there on the spot was going to win. My last radial race, we had a few issues. It just stressed me out. I was done, was actually gonna sell the car. I came back home, and I told my wife, ‘I quit.’ Then we went to a No Prep Kings race at Galot [Motorsports Park], and we had so much fun. We lost…I think we lost first round. We didn’t do that well our first race, but we enjoyed it. We couldn’t believe how much we enjoyed it. And that’s what I told myself – from now on, that’s the way racing was going to be. I don’t want to hate going racing. I love it because it’s my hobby, and that’s what I wanna keep it at." He also manages to do it all with a two-person crew, with his wife. While Sarah can be seen lining him up at every race, Larry Roach explains that his wife is more than just a visual presence. He receives assistance from the Bruder Bros and Team Vixen, but Sarah is the crucial element that holds his racing program together. Photo by No Prep Racing This time, we bring you video Ride In-car with Larry Roach in his Procharged Power Chevy Nova at the No Prep Race in West Palm Beach. While most videos usually show great shots from the outside, we think it's equally important to see what the drivers and competitors experience from inside their cars.
