  • JJ Da Boss "Heifer" Wrecked Twice and Debate over Putting Young Girls behind The Wheels

In yet another unfortunate turn of events for street racing legend JJ Da Boss, his prized possession, "Heifer," was wrecked in a street race in Crossville, Tennessee. The crash occurred during a high-speed race, leaving the car damaged and Big Berta shaken but thankfully uninjured. Photo by TheReal Streetoutlaws JJ Da Boss, whose real name is Jonathan Day, is a well-known figure in the street racing world. He has gained a massive following on social media and has been featured on the hit television show Street Outlaws. His love for racing started at a young age, and he has been perfecting his craft for decades. "Heifer" is a 1966 Chevy II Nova that JJ Da Boss has modified to perfection for maximum speed and performance. The car has been a fan favorite and a staple in the street racing scene, making the crash all the more hurtful for its owner and fans alike. The reason of the crash is still unclear, but reports suggest that Heifer was racing against another car when it veered off the road and hit the wall. The impact caused extensive damage to the front end of the car. Photo by TheReal Streetoutlaws Unfortunately, this is not the first time JJ Da Boss's car has experienced a crash. Berta did also involve in a wreck a week ago but was uninjured thankfully. However, JJ Da Boss has been at the center of a heated debate since then over his decision to put young and inexperienced girls behind the wheels of his race cars on the streets. Some argue that this is a dangerous and irresponsible move, while others defend it as a way to empower and encourage young women in the male-dominated world of street racing. Video by TheReal Streetoutlaws On one hand, critics argue that JJ Da Boss's decision to put young girls behind the wheel is highly irresponsible. Street racing is illegal in most parts of the United States and is considered an extremely dangerous activity. Putting inexperienced drivers on the road, especially in high-performance cars, is a recipe for disaster, increasing the risk of accidents, injuries, and even fatalities. Photo by Shelby Lynn On the other hand, supporters of JJ Da Boss argue that his decision to put young girls behind the wheel is a way to empower and encourage young women in the male-dominated world of street racing. JJ Da Boss has been an advocate for women in street racing for years, and his decision to put young girls behind the wheel is seen by many as a way to give them a chance to prove their skills and show that women can be just as competent and successful as men. "From a racing standpoint females have a faster reaction time", as said one supporter. Photo by Shelby Lynn Furthermore, supporters argue that JJ Da Boss takes great care to ensure the safety of his drivers, providing them with extensive training and guidance before allowing them to race. Many of the girls he works with have gone on to become successful street racers in their own right, demonstrating that JJ Da Boss's methods are effective and valuable in promoting gender diversity in the sport. Photo by Shelby Lynn The debate over JJ Da Boss's decision to put young girls behind the wheel is a contentious issue with strong arguments on both sides. While critics argue that it is dangerous and reinforces gender stereotypes, supporters see it as a way to empower young women and promote gender diversity in the male-dominated world of street racing. Ultimately, it is up to each individual to decide where they stand on the issue and whether JJ Da Boss's methods are worth the risk. Photo by Memphis Street Racer JJdaBoss

  • What Happened to Ryan Martin "Redrum"

The story of Redrum, a small red truck that gained legendary status in the world of street racing, has finally been unveiled by the team at 405 Photo, an automotive media group. Until now, the secrets and stories behind this famous truck were a mystery, leaving fans wondering about its origins and history. RedRum started its life as a 2017 GMC truck, which Ryan purchased from a friend who specialized in buying damaged cars and repairing them. However, its story truly began when Hurricane Harvey hit Houston in 2018, causing significant damage to a local GMC dealership. Though many vehicles were destroyed, Ryan noticed a brand-new, never-driven GMC Sierra SLT inside the dealership and decided to purchase it as a total loss. Photo by Fireball Camaro Ryan had grand plans for the truck, aiming to create a daily driver with over 1000 horsepower. With the help of his friend Ricky, they worked on modifying the truck, adding power and installing a 4080 transmission. Before long, Redrum was pushing out a jaw-dropping 1300 horsepower, making it a serious contender on the streets and on the track. Redrum quickly became a fan favorite among Ryan and Ricky's followers, who eagerly followed the truck's progress and watched as it was put to the test. It was featured on the 405 show, and Ryan even took it on a 100-mile cruise during a toy drive. Photo by Fireball Camaro However, after being driven hard for thousands of miles, the truck's engine finally gave out, and Redrum met its demise. Despite this, the truck's legacy lives on, serving as a testament to Ryan and Ricky's skill and passion for building and racing high-performance vehicles. • Roots And Screw Superchargers In Drag Racing

Jim Howe is a well-known street racer and a prominent member of the Street Outlaws crew. As a master of supercharger technology, Jim has extensive knowledge of the different types of superchargers available for high-performance racing engines. In his video, we will explore the differences between three types of superchargers that Jim is particularly familiar with and know how Howe Motorsports stuff is ran versus the way that other people's cars are doing. Roots Blower vs. Screw Blower The roots blower and screw blower are both types of positive displacement superchargers, which means they compress air by trapping it in a small space and then moving it to a larger space. However, they differ in the way they move air through the supercharger. A set of screw rotors on the left, roots on the right. Photo by PSI Superchargers In essence, the aim of both roots and screw blowers is to increase engine power by delivering maximum air into the motor. However, the crucial difference between the two lies in their efficiency, which ultimately determines the blower that can produce more power. The roots blower functions as an air pump with parts that touch inside, causing heat and friction. It can only spin up to 13,500-14,000 rpm before generating more heat than boost. Therefore, roots blowers are much less efficient and cannot move as much air as screw blowers. On the other hand, the screw blower is more efficient and can be spun up to 24,000 to 26,000 rpm with more room for creating power. However, there are no cylinder heads available that can use the level of air produced by a screw blower. Therefore, screw blowers are the ideal option for generating maximum power because of their efficiency, requiring less horsepower to turn them. Class rules also play a role in choosing the type of blower to use. The efficiency of screw blowers often comes with a significant weight penalty when used in a specific class, if permitted at all. Hence, roots blower cars can weigh up to 300 pounds less than screw-blown cars. The weight penalty of the screw blower might affect the choice of the blower based on what it would take to make it work at that weight. Both roots and screw blowers are efficient ways of making significant power in any racing class. The choice of which blower to use depends on the combination, style of racing, and class rules. Each blower has its advantages and can push your racecar to new levels of speed and performance on any race weekend. Photo by Howe Motorsports How Jim Howe Uses Different Superchargers Jim Howe has experimented with all three types of superchargers and has found that each has its own strengths and weaknesses. He uses a combination of roots and screw blowers to get the best of both worlds: the instant boost of the roots blower and the sustained power of the screw blower. Photo by Howe Motorsports In conclusion, there are many types of superchargers available for high-performance racing engines, and each has its own unique advantages and disadvantages. As a master of supercharger technology, Jim Howe understands the differences between roots, screw, and centrifugal superchargers and uses each type in the most effective way possible to stay ahead of the competition. • Big Chief Knocks John Pizza Out of The Competition as The 405 Remains Undefeated

As you may follow, Street Outlaws star Justin “Big Chief” Shearer has parted ways with the show to remain as real to the street as possible. He is not happy with the current state of the Street Outlaws show, and with this, he says that he is going to only focus on big tire racing. Photo by Big Chief 405 Facebook “I’m a street racer” he said in a video on “The Future of Big Chief on Street Outlaws” on Youtube. “I’ve been a street racer. Everyone has always told me to not give up on what has made you who you are now. Being a dumb street racer is what you got here. But that seems like that’s not going to cut it anymore. The bottom line is that I can’t stand up there and defend rules and decisions that I had no part of. And don’t agree with it, especially with a group of guys, who take it as seriously as we do. That’s the other flip side of the coin. While I know the rules and decisions that I am defending may not be my own and may not agree with them, it’s for a bigger cause, which is the TV show. We want to make sure that we have a good show.” Photo by Midwest Street Cars Youtube Without Big Chief, the show had a smaller impact on the public and the viewers than last season. In order to drag more attention to the OG show, Discovery UK has showed an old video when Big Chief and the 405 guys visited Chicago where they will do an out-of-town race between the fastest cars that Chicago has to offer versus the ones that Big Chief, Jeff Lutz, and the rest of the 405 crew have available. Photo by Discovery UK Youtube Big Chief is facing John Pizzi’s small tire car, and to try to make the race more interesting, these guys have a great on a car and a half and a hit for the small tire car, an advantage that should provide the boys from Chicago enough advantage to win the race. There are many ways to explain the difference in these cars, but let’s see it yourself by this below video, in which you will know, why Big Chief and 405 guys still remain undefeated. • Kye Kelley Brand-new Shocker is Ready for Championship Title against Ryan Martin in NPK 2022

As you may know, Street Outlaws star Kye Kelley’s beloved Shocker – a third-generation Camaro ended up going down in a blaze of glory. This is because the car was involved in a nasty accident during a street test session as driven by one of Kelley’s friends. Fortunately, everybody did end up walking away from the incident. On Kelley’s Youtube channel, he told us the story of what exactly it was that happened to the car and how it got all wadded up. It would seem that Kelley wanted to lend the car to his friend to help with a racing effort. However, when push came to shove, the transition of drivers didn’t exactly go as easy as Kelley thought they would go. According to Kelley, the Shocker is a total loss but he doesn’t blame the driver for the situation. Photos by Kye Kelley Youtube Early this month “Street Outlaws” star Kye Kelley revealed his new purpose-built “No Prep Kings” Chevrolet Camaro, which was finished by Larry Jeffers Race Cars and powered by a Pat Musi 959 cubic-inch nitrous mill along with a Mark Micke TH400 transmission. The car is a replacement of sorts to the original “Shocker,” and will likewise take over starting-lineup duties in place of the later-model Camaro, “Aftershock,” that he’s been campaigning with considerable success. The new black-on-black “Shocker” rolled out of Jeffers’ shop at the most opportune of times, as the “No Prep Kings” circuit now has a much-needed seven-week hiatus. This will allow Kye and the Musi camp time to test and prepare for a run at the title against Ryan Martin and the rest of the top hitters in the series over the final seven races, which resume in Tulsa on August 12. Photos by Larry Jeffers Race Cars There were two big tires Shockers being built by Larry Jeffers Race Cars and the other one by West Race Cars, which is going to be a big tire street race car most likely to be ran on America’s List season 3. Kye Kelley definitely likes third-generation Camaros so he basically has three third-generation Camaros and we will see them all on Street Outlaws End Game, No Prep Kings and on America’s List or any other spin-off show on the street. Photo by Kye Kelley Instagram Let’s catch up with the car that will most certainly be turning heads on the final seven races of NPK 2022. It looks like Kelley and his Shocker will be back stronger than ever!

  • Kye Kelley New Buick Regal Unveil for No Prep Kings season 6

Kye Kelley, a star of the "Street Outlaws No Prep Kings" series, revealed his new car for the 2023 campaign this week, adding to the already extensive variety of automobile makes and models in the series. The new car is a triple-black Buick Regal dubbed "JangAlang," and it's built by Wizard Race Cars in Holden, Louisiana. It marks a departure from Kelley's traditional third- and sixth-generation Camaros carrying the "Shocker" name, which he has campaigned since first bursting onto the "Street Outlaws" scene in 2015. While Kelley previously built and raced an '87 Regal named "Claude Banks" on the "Street Outlaws: End Game" show, "JangAlang" is the first Buick Regal to make an appearance in the NPK series. Photo by Kye Kelley Racing The new Regal features a screw-supercharged Hemi engine with a Noonan billet Hemi and PSI supercharger, confirming speculation that Kelley would transition away from his previous nitrous oxide combination. The screw supercharger combination is one of the most refined combinations in the sport, despite offseason parity adjustments, and is certain to keep Kelley competitive for the title. Photo by Kye Kelley Racing But it's not just the engine that sets "JangAlang" apart. The car's sleek, sinister design is nothing short of impressive, with its triple-black paint job and aggressive stance. The car's name, "JangAlang," is a nod to its menacing appearance and its potential to strike fear into the hearts of its opponents on the track. Photo by Kye Kelley Racing Kelley and his team will test the car ahead of the season six opener in Ohio on June 2-3 after finalizing the build. Fans of the NPK series have been eagerly anticipating the unveiling of Kelley's new ride, and "JangAlang" certainly lives up to the hype. Photo by Kye Kelley Racing This isn't the first unique body style from Wizard Race Cars either, as the team previously built Randy Williams' 1970 Dodge Challenger. With "JangAlang" as the newest addition to the NPK series, fans can't wait to see what other impressive rides the team at Wizard Race Cars has in store for the future. Video by Kye Kelley Racing

  • Brian Chucky Davis wins Big Tire Cash Days over Big Chief

Cash Days was a 12 driver free-for-all, $1,000 buy-in with one winner of a $12,000 pot. It was grueling, tense and pushed the limits of all drivers and cars. It was an exciting event to watch and surely more exciting to race in. Cash Days is a yearly event that BoostedGT throws down in Texas and invites out some of the fastest drivers in the country. Obviously a few of the 405 OKC boys had to be there. If you’ve followed Big Chief and his channel, you must have seen his video that he was testing for a cash day race. It’s basically the crow’s return to street racing and it’s illegal real street cash day. After 5 years since the last filming of Street Outlaws real deal cash days on December 2015, they have been back with interesting illegal races. Video by Midwest Street Cars Photo by Blue Collar Street Racing This year on real deal Big Tire Cash Day, Brian Davis actually beat Big Chief. This’s also the first cash day win in his street racing career. As Big Chief said, cash day is the only thing that matters to him. This is only the second time he actually raced this year: War in the Woods and Cash Days. Chief’s car got loose and Brian’s car made a good pass, so congratulations on Brian Davis’s win.
