In April of this year, Lizzy Musi revealed that she had been diagnosed with stage four breast cancer. Pat acknowledged the challenging period they were going through, stating “It’s a tough time. The diagnosis was a tough time.” He emphasized that he maintains constant communication with Lizzy and is attentive to her emotions. The doctors have advised them to remain focused and continue with their regular routines. In fact, they have encouraged Lizzy to travel to Columbus, and they intend to honor that recommendation by accompanying her. Among the drivers, fans have the opportunity to vote for Lizzy Musi as the eighth team captain.
