As the Street Outlaws television series has expanded its reach worldwide, it's now time for their racing events to follow suit. These competitors are now going head-to-head with the top talents that Australia has to offer, racing on their home turf.
Street Outlaws fans are eagerly anticipating the commencement of the Australia No Prep Kings event, where the spotlight will be on the highly-anticipated rematch between Jeff Lutz and John Zappia. Throughout his career, Zappia has consistently delivered exceptional racing performances, boasting an impressive track record and numerous achievements in the realm of Top Doorslammer. In an unexpected turn of events, Jeff Lutz emerged victorious in their encounter. On the following day, John Zappia also went head-to-head with Murder Nova, providing an exciting race for fans to witness.
The significant event of the day revolved around Robin Roberts, who unfortunately encountered an obstacle that might prevent him from participating in the remainder of the Australian tour. Early on Sunday morning, at approximately 6 AM, a truck transporting his prized 1968 Firebird, known as "High Voltage" and valued at $500,000, overturned on Great Eastern Highway, close to Warralakin Road in Walgoolan. Fortunately, both Robin Roberts and a passenger escaped the incident with only minor injuries.
An ambulance transported him to Merredin Hospital. He mentioned, "It was inside the very container it was originally shipped in across the ocean. It commenced its journey from the Perth drag strip at midnight with two drivers en route to Brisbane."

“Here is where we are: Truck drivers are okay. That’s number 1! Cars get fixed or replaced, people can’t.” Robin Roberts Racing said in a Facebook post. “Car was ripped out of its mounts so hard it slammed and dented the roof of the container, came down and stuck propped up on its side with one of our spare parts boxes stuck between it and the wall. Our toolbox and other items are done for!
Chassis seems okay, we will know in the morning when we take it out of the container and get it out of the predicament it is wedged into. That will be a chore! Scott Taylor with his towing expertise will help get it out the best way possible. Boosted, Lutz and many of the team will chip in. Stay tuned. More tomorrow! Keep the Faith!!”

Roberts was expected to compete in three more stops in the Land Down Under. This past weekend, Roberts competed in the first stop at Perth Motorplex in Perth, Australia.
Robin Roberts said after inspecting the car which was taken to Perth on Sunday night, repairs could be done. “So far it looks repairable if we put a new body on it,” he said.
Recently he just updated that he will come up with the game plan for this weekend.
